Chaplaincy Services

Hendry Regional Medical Center patients and their families have access to counseling and pastoral support. Our group of chaplains is available to assist with your spiritual and emotional needs, due to experiences of life and death, illness and injury.

The mission of the volunteer chaplaincy program of HRMC is to provide spiritual care as an essential part of a holistic approach to care for all persons. This will be accomplished through means of visitation, spiritual and emotional support, words of comfort and encouragement, appropriate use of scripture, prayers, sacraments and referrals.

The philosophy of the volunteer chaplaincy program is to provide spiritual care through a ministry of availability and pastoral presence for patients, their families, and the staff. Religious preferences (regardless of faith, race, creed, culture or ethnic background) are observed with the utmost respect.

If you or your family member should need the services of one of these chaplains, call 863-902-3000 and ask for the Nursing Supervisor, who will gladly assist you.
