Diabetes Prevention Program

Hendry Regional Medical Center, in partnership with the Department of Health of Hendry County, is offering a nationally recognized Diabetes Prevention Program to help prevent or delay Type 2 Diabetes. This free program meets weekly for sixteen weeks and then once a month for eight months. Although a person may join at any time during the program year, the best outcome is obtained when the person completes the first 16 weekly sessions.
