Are you doing all you can do to achieve balanced nutrition and a healthy diet?

Whether you are in the best shape of your life or in need of a tune-up, nutrition and lifestyle have a large impact on your health. The Dietitians at Hendry Regional Medical Center believe that variety and moderation are two critical factors that help determine if your dietary habits will foster health or hasten illness and chronic conditions. Diet is one element that is under our control, unlike age and genetics.

Increasing your consumption of whole grains, fruit, and vegetables can reduce the risk of heart disease, cancer, and obesity. Choosing lean meats and low-fat dairy products are also important in reducing the risk of these and other chronic conditions.

Hendry Regional Medical Center has Dietitians on staff to meet your nutritional requirements. A registered Dietitian is an expert in the field of nutrition. Our Dietitians are available to counsel patients with diabetes, obesity, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, kidney disease, and many other conditions.
