It is the role of the Purchasing/Materials Management Department at Hendry Regional Medical Center to procure the necessary supplies, services and equipment required for the hospital to maintain quality patient care. This is normally accomplished through competitive bidding procedures and group purchasing participation. Sales representatives must abide by the guidelines established by Hendry Regional Medical Center.
All new products or evaluations of products must be approved by the Administration of Hendry Regional Medical Center and be accompanied by a valid purchase order after approval.
The Purchasing/Materials Management Department strives to maintain the highest quality patient care, at the most competitive price. Vendors who are interested in bidding for sales opportunities are advised to call the Purchasing Department for an appointment.
HRMC is proudly partnered with Health Trust Purchasing Group, a group purchasing organization supporting nearly 1,400 not-for-profit and for-profit acute care facilities, as well as ambulatory surgery centers, physician practices and alternate care sites.
