Full time -- Registered Nurse (Circulator/Scrub/CCTA/Nursing Supervisor) - Surgery
This multifaceted role supports several key clinical areas at Hendry Regional Medical Center. The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in the Surgical Services Department, functioning as either a Circulating Nurse or Scrub Nurse as scheduled. In addition, this role includes serving as a CCTA Registered Nurse in the Imaging Department and participating in rotating shifts as a Nursing House Supervisor. Participation in the surgical department’s on-call rotation is required.
Status: Full time
Schedule: Sunday-Saturday as scheduled
Shift: Report time 6:45am, fluctuating hours 8 to 12 hour shifts based on surgery schedule and nursing supervisor schedule and needs of the department, plus on-call as scheduled
Qualifications: Must possess a valid Florida RN license. BLS, ACLS and PALS is required. Must be able to interpret cardiac rhythm strips, including identifying AV heart blocks.
Experience: Previous Surgery and Emergency Department experience preferred. Circulating skills preferred, scrub skills preferred. PACU skills (will train). Will require on-call rotation for emergency surgeries.
